24 Jul 08-Super Blur Couple :)

I had my dental appointment on thursday 24 Jul and xin agreed to bring me there however we left out one very important detail....


My appointment was at Ntuc dental clinic Toa Payoh(central of Sinagpore) but he thought i was going Alexandra Hospital(mid west of singapore)!!


and i only realised when i went past IKEA alexandra that we had misunderstood one another.




So, lesson learnt!

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN A COUPLE IS IMPORTANT!

But after my dental appointment...(Bad news, got to extract two more teeth in front and there could be a possibility of having a permanent gap...and i thought having braces will give me the prefect smile..) xin brought me to a nice place to have our dinner. He was so secretive about it, keep warning me not to wear my usual get up of T-shirt and shorts!

It was at Goodwood park hotel!

We went to Dim Sake Bar which served dim sum and japanese food. It had this unlimited order of selected dim sum and alcoholic drinks for the price of $39.90 which was worth it if you love drinking..however for the two of us, we were more into food at that time.

We ordered the following dishes:

Complimentary plate of wasabi potato chips (makes you want to have more)

Pork congee with Century Egg（Darling loves her congee with pi dan!)

Hehe next is the in house speciality: Xiao long bao shooters! so funny the name. The xiao long bao comes in a shooter glass so when you poke the xiao long bao, the juice will be still in the shooter glass. I have only 1 complain. Where is my vinegar??!!

Next up is their Har Kau: so cute rabbit shape. However, i just popped into my mouth and wahhla!! now u see now u don!! heheh DEar said in HK all the har kau are shaped in rabbit shaped.. shall check it out when i go HK.

Next is the breadsticks: not sure what is the fillings inside but quite xx for such a small portion

oh ya there is another dish that we ordered: Lobster and scallop ???tastes fantastic especially when u dip in the mayo sauce.. i like it!!

haha this is finally our dessert: Mango Pudding!! actually we didnt order this but the waitress got our orders mixed up cos ... Mango Pudding was item 51 and we wanted item 41 which is the pork congee.

After which, we walked over to far east to walk walk and my darling bought some clothes hehe she super happy which is good !!

Finally with the pathetic portion that we had for dinner, before hitting home, i went over to far east and bought Chippy!!(British take away) Beer Battered Fish & Chips. not too bad very xiang!! but tastes wise so so

anyway it was another happy day spent with my dear dear

A Step Forward :)

On one of my 7 days MC, xin and I were discussing about marriage plans seriously over coffee.
Over our 5 and a half years courtship, this subject had creeped into our conversations many a times but most of the times we ended up talking nonsense like his bride wearing an orange gown and him looking for the perfect mandrian collar shirt.

Finally,we agreed to look for a HOUSE!(via a housing agent- however havent decided who yet)
But I was appalled by the prices of resale flats around our district..and on top of that the outrageous sum of cash we would have to pay..

Once again, Im shocked into a frenzy of saving money (the last time I had the same reaction was when ...my friend sandra bought her flat and she was telling me how much money she and her
fiancé had to pay.) But I lost steam soon after.

No more impulse buys of skincare products...
No more mindless magazine buys..........
No more ness and gg5 clothes................

And on top of that, we are going Tokyo at the end of the year. eeeks!!!



On a lighter note, Im watching this japanese drama- Absolute Boyfriend (Zettai Kareshi)

The lead actor- Hayami Mokomichi (a robot in the serial) is sooo SHUAI!! so my type- only 24 years old**I LIKE***

Xin, mayb can consider his hair cut k! :)

4 Jul 08-Wisdom Tooth Extraction

I went to AH to extract my remaining 2 wisdom tooth on 4th July (Friday). It was quite ordeal!
I reported to the ward at 8:00am because the traffic was quite smooth and I guess we left house quite early. But I was only wheeled into the operating theater at 9:30am. It was terrifying because all the medical personnel were behind their face masks and it didn't help that the theater was very cold.

I was injected with sedatives and it was sooo painful-because my veins were very fine (papa said this was due to lack of exercise) and soon after I was knocked out totally.I had no recollection of the procedure.

The very next thing I could remembered was that someone was calling my name and informed me that the surgery was over and I would be wheeled back to the ward.

All these while, I only felt pain in my throat and it was explained to me that there was a tube placed there during the surgery. Xin came shortly after I was back in the ward. I guess he was quite bored looking at me sleeping away. Anyway, during that period, he took pictures of me-so unflattering.
It was only at about 2:30 was I discharged from the ward and I was charged $1224!!!
Exorbitant price!thank godness it would be charged to AIA healthshield. :)

All because of these 2 wisdom tooth....


This embedded one had been sawed into bits and pieces because the roots were too deep.
