Contract signing and ROM dress

Went down with darling on Friday 28th August to meet up with Ashley to sign our contract for ROM. Paid up deposit of $388. hehe was busy talking and took the wrong route again.. however we just made it on time. Must be Eugene's fault... don like him liao :p

We went over to Wheelock Sun with Moon to have our lunch. I ordered Hokkaido Ramen & Tori Karaage set meal while darling ordered Nagasaki Chanpon. Mine was quite sumptous but it was confusing sia ... too fusion to eat sia like a mixed combination...
Darling's Chanpon soup was good.. but it tasted like Hokkien mee in soup.. and it cost 3 times more... overall i felt it was nothing fantastic... so-so.. probably next time try their dinner.

Afterwhich, we went to our Bridal studio. We reached there slightly earlier and Amber was having her dinner.. so paiseh...
After which, she took some short ROM dress for darling to choose and try... wondering shall i post the pic here  hahahaha darling definitely will kill me...

i also tried two jackets.. but don have my Agnes B style jacket leh... hehe wanna retro style...with geeky specs..

We also confirmed with Amber for the makeup artist and the timing etc.. and we left when the boss came back..

Since we were in the Tanjong Pagar area, i did some research and we popped by Saraceno Ristorante@ Hotel Berjaya. Heard good reviews about this place on the net and decided to give it a shot...

Darling ordered Fusilli Napoletana which its texture was firm and spongy ahhaa but it came with two big prawns and some clams. Dear ate one and passed all the clams to me.. wait kena outbreak again...scary...

I ordered Linguine Vongole in olive oil garlic and chilly. I would say it was a disappointment. There was no taste of garlic and chilly too tomatoish for my liking but the vonogle was quite alot.. but i cant taste the freshness but at least there wasnt any fishy smell...

i was expecting higher quality since hearing that the chef had trained under Gordon Ramsey.. but the bread was warm and nice...

But for the price.. think i will not probably go back again... maybe come for their desserts?

Not a smooth sailing day

Darling and i went to IKea this afternoon. We went to anchor point to do some shopping(buying of charles and keith shoes @ discounted prices). Afterwhich, we went to Queensway shopping centre to look for my shorts, man u jersey and her gym pants. However, we managed to buy only my shorts and not the others.

After which, we went to our highlight of our Day-- to Raw Kitchen Bar @ 276 Upper Bukit Timah Road. However, when we about to the reach the supposed(my illusion) location, darling's fren called and i got distracted and missed the turn. Then i raised my voice at darling for picking up the call... but darling was so nice and kept on helping out with the directions..
SORRY darling for raising my voice...will not do that again(did that cos frustrated as i wanted to bring you to this place badly)

Instead, we went to United Square for dinner at Tang Dian Wang which was average..
Went back to her house and google the location and realized i got the address wrong.... so bad of me ...shall check clearly the location before we go out and try to find this place again...

Bridal Studio Settled!

Darling and i went to Suntec Bridal fair on Sunday(16th August 2009). We were still procrastinating whether to go.. cos lazy... We reached there around 3+.. lucky to manage to get a parking lot immediately.. must be darling wang wang..



The convention halls were packed with pple as there was 1. Chan Brothers Travel Fair 2. Toys Convention 3. Wedding Fair.

We headed straight to the wedding fair but the first impression that it was small fair.. not much bridal studios.. we were served by a Beng & Lian Bridal Studio. The lady was polite at first.. until her colleague came over(her breath was full of malboro smell)..her nails were yellowish.. started to be very pushy and hard sell liao.. we left and chanced upon Signoria Nuziale.



The photographer Eric was showing his past works and we were quite impressed with it. He seems to be a very nice and easy going guy. After that, he asked Winnie (i think Malaysian) to talk to us about the package. Their package was quite attractive as both darling and i liked Eric's photography skills.

We went to a few to check out the prices like Seletar and Bliss and darling was pissed with the latter cos the lady was too pushy for our liking....after which we went for dinner at MOF and discusssed and went back and signed with Signoria Nuziale-- Salute!!! I shall go Italian style liao...hahaha
all for the Grand price of (drum roll)--- $2630 nett. Invoice no. 0413. So happy that we got a good deal and time for us to check out other important stuff liao!!! Yippe!!!

darling.. just finished bathing and reading our blog... so touched... i also wanna thank you for being so nice... tolerating my nonsense and wishy washy (Kenzouii) ways.. from now onwards,, i wanna use perfume from Kenzo liao hahaa

u really an godsend angel to me... halleluya!! Praise the lord! Cant find the words to tell you how i feel.. I LOVE U!!

i think we have found our elusive photographer.. i tot the photos taken are quite amazing and unique...the overall package quite alright leh... kudos to my power packed and efficient darling!! MUAKS!!!

With each step nearer to our ROM date (exactly 131 days), i realised oh my god!im really going to marry you and spend the rest of my life with u!yikes! heh, just joking k.

darling, i want to thank whatever great powers up there to let me have you in my life. although there are times u irritate the world out of me, u never fail to make me smile with the silly actions and words of yours.
and on top of that, i don't think i can ever find someone who will give in to my every whims willingly (at times unwillingly as well)you are my best friend and closest confidante, someone whom i really look forward to spend the rest my life with you.

like today u got to work night yet u didn even get to catch a nap and u didn complain at all-although i was guilty cos tomorrow night u got to work as well, im secretly pleased that u could spend time with me!what a dilemma for me!

I promise I will be a more understanding wife to you k, heh definately wont regret this BEST BUY! :)
