Ayam Penyet @ marine parade

We went to katong shopping centre cos i need to get my supply of contact lens - and I only purchase mine from there heh, so poor xin had to accompany me on his off day. So after school, off we went!

And because we had been to katong (quite recently to navie), we had no idea what to eat. xin wanted to had ayam penyet at marine parade. But i must say of all the ayam penyet stalls that we had tried, the one had marine parade is the best- in terms of the portion of the chicken and of cos the spicy chilli sauce.

This time round, it was even more worth it! the whole set- chicken + rice + soup+ drink was only $6.50! usually the chicken itself would have cost us $6.50 already. however this promotion is only valid on weekdays.

The tahu goreng was also well done! but i had problems eating because the food was way too spicy- my lips were swollen! terrible!

Fitting of ROM dress and Dinner at Vivocity

Went down to try out the new ROM dresses at Signoria, and the standard of the dresses were much better than the ones we saw the last time althought there were only 3 new ones. I settled for one tea dress which had a bustier cut and tulle skirt. No pictures this time round cos the boss was around but i have this nagging feeling that i look HUGE in it and im still not able to lose any weight...and time is running out already!yikes~

Anyway after Signoria, we headed to Vivocity and watched Cloudy with a chance of meatball, all the pictures of food made us hungry. I though the storyline was cute, food raining down from the sky, i think my ah ti would request for hotdogs and fishballs everyday heh.

Anyway, we must be pigging out quite a lot cos we had no idea what to eat. In the end, we settled for thai food (one cusine we havent eaten recently). I think my threshold for spicy food must have went down cos I felt the tom yam bee hoon was too spicy for my liking. What have happened to my tastebuds? Went gu niang already heh

1-for-1 UOB Promotion ETNA

We went to ETNA at east coast road to have their pasta cos they had 1-for-1 UOB card promotion.

We had the seafood platter- made up of breaded fish and calamari, it has been sooo long ago (cant remember when was it that we went) it was not very memorable but I only thought it was too oily.

Xin had his usual- cream carbonara while i had my usual tomato based crabmeat penne. I felt that the crabmeat penne was good, the strands of crabmeat were very obvious unlike those that I had at pastamanic but oh well the price do make a difference.

We should go for their lunch promotion -set lunch +dessert yipes!
