Night out on Friday

It is not very often xin has a Friday night off so we decided to go somewhere beyond our Tampines estate.

We wanted to try the cakes at one caramel cos of the reviews of the cakes there were worth a try.

I had the blackforest cake nothing impressive except the cherry was pre soaked in alcohol and there was way too much whipped cream.

Xin's chocolate praline cake



It is very similar to rive chocolate cake but based as xin's comment it was more moist than rive on.

We discovered a good foodie place least expected. Plaza singapura food court has a number of impressive stalls. We tried the Tom yam soup and xin had the cashew nut rice,both are comparable to thai express if nit better but only at half the price. Must go again to try other dishes and stalls.

Dinner at tonkichi cos I had bought the pokka card at $65 and in return we get $120 vouchers in return but I had to wait for more than three weeks and I had to blow my top but all's well ends well.so we are here to eat and pick up the card.

The year of the Iphones

we decided to get a pair of couple phones (we hardly have anything we own in common- because we just  have very different taste heh) but anyway after much deliberation we decided to embark on getting the iphones just like everyone else heh

we had wanted to re-contract with M1 anyway to cut the long story short, M1 was quite adamant in giving us discount of the handset to retain us as their subscribers and the customer service officers wasnt very helpful at all.

So we decided to jump ship- to Starhub instead. We each had $100 discount off the handset and on top of that because xin had the cable tv and another hp line from starhub, we were entitled 25% off the monthly subscription yeah!

After waiting for 1 day for the line to be activated, yeah we were on our way to free and fun applications!
and boy was it fun!

Collection of ROM Disc

Went down together with Darling to collect our ROM disc from Yew Kwang. Afterwhich, we went over to China Square area to have dinner. Decided to have dinner at Kowloon Hongkong Cafe.
It was quite good-- i thought darling's noodles was quite good cos it was spicy enough.. we order french toast after dinner ... so piggy..

I shall post some of the ROM photos.. damn.. seriously time for me to slim down.. my face looks fat.. but the photos were good..heheh lovely!!

Bali day 3 Outing

In our villa package, a 2 hr massage, a honeymoon lunch and dinner were included so we decided to use all of these offers on the third day!

We had our massage in our villa, nothing impressive because we thought the best we had was at bintan althought it was pricey as well.

And after lunch, we have had our next lunch again at this famous place.

And we ordered their famous nasi cumpur!

And something I had to add!Xin had me walk all over Kuta to find his reef slippers and my goodness finally we found it. It was not cheaper in Bali instead more expensive than when i bought 5 years ago but at least we got what xin wanted!

After which we went to had something again!this time round, was to have drinks heh!

Service left much to be desired. Unlike our next destination -Dancing fingers. Their massage was awesome painful yet it feels good after it.

It was raining when we left the massage place but the messeurs had to stand in the rain to hail a cab for us. so sweet of them although the cab driver overcharged us.

And when we were back at our villa, it was nicely set up heh was joking to xin that we should dress up for the night heh instead of being smelly and sweaty heh

Just to add, we actually got hooked on this channel on food in Bali cant remember what was it (Asia food channel) but we were spending our mornings watching it heh
