Household shopping weekend

We managed to meet up for 3 days over the weekend- Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is a rare occurrence because xin has to go on shift work and sometimes he is just too lazy to get his butt out of the house but I must say he has been hardworking over the weekend even went to play soccer in the morning!!

We went to megatrax at expo on Sunday to check out the 42" led tv the cheapest was LG $1429 + $50 Robinson vouchers + 3 yrs warranty + free transport

Anyway we going to find a better deal k! Love love

Smokey BBQ

Went to the Blk 300+ @ Tampines Mart to check out the Harvey Norman factory outlet sale.. the LG LED TV was relatively cheap @ 1399 but the Samsung fridge was slightly more expensive than the one we saw at Courts as it still have 70 voucher... Since there wasnt any nice food to eat around the vicinity, we decided to go to some where else.. however we couldnt make up our mind to go to 1. Changi V 2. Dunman Food Centre 3. Smokey BBQ. after driving we decided to go n try out the Smokey BBQ @ Joo Chiat as it was highly recommended by HGW.
As we reached there slight early.. we managed to grab a table despite having no reservations.. but the area was still empty! However, the crowd started to come...

My beloved Wife! haha so ke ai! As i didnt had breakfast, we decieded to order more stuff tonight.

Buffalo Wings --- Hot version --- Verdict --- not hot at all.. but quite sour sia..

My St Louis Spare Ribs --- The BBQ sauce was good and ribs was tender 2 thumbs up!! Value for money! only 20 bucks much more cheaper than what u can get at Cafe Cartel etc..

Darling's Fish & Chips --- i tot it was very nice too.. it had very unique aroma which i cant pinpoint.. many pple was raving or slamming the cider offered there but since we arent in the mood for ale or cider, we didnt order any.. shall try the next time around Burp.. massive portions.. luckily i was FAMISHed..

The Powerful Wife

Was waiting for my darling when i decided to take a couple of shots of my brand new long awaited Onitsuka Tiger shoes,.. woohoo..

Nice right..

 We reached Suntec around 3+ as Darling had an appointment at 4pm (hehe).. so i was wandering around in Suntec. She wanted to go to the Old Town to have a afternoon dose of caffeine. Here is what we ordered.

As we wanted to find the sales person for our Simmons bed to enquire some stuff, however person in charge was out for dinner. Therefore we also decided to go for our dinner as well.

Wanted to bring Darling to try something different thus we went over Chijmes. Initially i wanted to try the Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ or Lei Garden but as there was only 2 of us, we decided to try out the Japanese Dining Sun which was located at the 2nd level. It was supposedly different from the one Sun and Moon at Wheellock place according to Darling's colleague.

When we went in the place was dimly lighted and the reception informed us there was only sushi counter available as we didnt make any reservations. I was thinking .. very stuck up sia..anyway we went ahead with the seating arrangement. Here is what we ordered..

Salmon Sashimi, not bad but when i had warm water after it, it created a fishy after taste...

I ordered the mix grill and it was pretty good.. the best was the beef or pork, it just melts in your mouth yummy!!

Darling ordered the Hokkaido Miso Ramen and it was not bad too and we decided to share as the portions was small.. we decided to go Atas route next time haha eat small portions but exquiste stuff.

Finally after dinning, we went back to Robinsons to find the sales person. As darling is a member of Robinsons, she recevied a catalogue indicating some items on special offer and one of it was our Simmons mattress!! But it was cheaper!! Darling spoke to the person and she agreed to give us the cheaper offer and darling also managed to negotiated for another king size mattress protector and goose feather pillow for $5 each!! good deal sia!!!

In addition, our mattress GST is being absorbed and we had an additional savings of 200+!! Kudos to my powerful wife who wangz wangz me!! Love love U!!!!

We can use the additional savings to buy other stuff!! Happy!

National day Loooong weekend

Our long weekend is over sob! But we did accomplish quite a lot over the weekend. Starting from Friday, we met up with Kenneth to rectify some of the changes we have to our house. Soon ready to move in after the massive cleaning which I am very fearful of. By the way, my colleague was sharing there is a special detergent to use for laminate flooring and can be bought at self fix. Let's go k.

On Saturday, we went to have chong Qing at suntec for dinner! I adore steamboat!


On Sunday I had YOG duty in the evening

On Monday, we headed for our long awaited movie- inception. Mind boggling heh a dream within a dream. Are u dreaming?

And we snapped up our 1st household items aussino towels!! 45% off value for money!




On Tuesday we headed down to town to get my longines watch fixed my goodness the queue was long and we agreed that some of the brands are to be blacklisted heh. And the cost of my repair is $290 sob! And that is going to take 3 months!

Forgot about our lunch at wendy's before the flood comes again heh



And vainpot xin went to Zara for a wardrobe upheaval anyway our dinner was at pepe's that had took over Sanur














Xin adores this! And no wonder we are looking more and more rolly Polly heh

Wanted to go to our house together after my night shift but as it was raining heavily, i decided to go alone and let Darling to sleep in abit more (she very ke lian, have to wake up so early everyday).

Our shoe cabinet.. the doors are difficult to open cos no handles or grooves.. need to inform Kenneth.

Our Kitchen Cabinet--- with the black glass, i think it look classy except we really have a small stove.. hahah like for decorative purposes (cooking mama!!)
