Thoughts Abt Relationships

Just some random thoughts...

Had my fair share of "bad" relationships, suitors who were only interested in the chase but not in building a lasting relationships and so on...Haha wat a LOOOOOONG time ago :)

But there was this particular brief relationship that I had with someone that left quite an impression on me and subsequently changed my outlook towards relationships, I guess.

There was this once, I had this conversation with the guy I was besotted with.It goes something like this.
Me: Tell me, what is it that u like about me? (Wishing that he would list down 101 good things abt me)
Him: Ehm.....(He paused for quite some time)
Me: Okie, tell me why u decided to have a relationship with me?
Him: Cos of companionship..

And I flared up and started accusing him that any other girl could have kept him accompanied and something along that line...and he had to do his best to pacify me.But it stuck with me, it made me wonder if he had not liked me for who i am but rather wanted someone around and that our relationship was so shallow. And of cos, the relationship fizzed out.

Unfortunately or fortunately, I started to subscribe to his idea of relationships-it is good to have someone around but if there isnt, it is all right-the world will not crumpled.

When i entered my current relationship, i had the "look-see-look-see" attitude. But HE managed to change it, by constantly assuring tat i am the one for him and that HE will always be there for me no matter what.

Very slowly, I realised that i have gotten serious in this relationship and i am able to see a future together with him. HE means the world to me now.

However, Im also worried as the stakes are getting higher(as though we are playing the game of Bluff :), i might not be able to recoup my losses when things do go as expected.

Anyway, lets just enjoy the moment and cherish whatever we have k!:)

15 Jun 08-Sanur Indonesia Restaurant

Went to JTB to check out our Japan trip details and decided to stay in Ngee Ann City to have our dinner. Initially we had set our mind on Crystal Jade's korean ginseng chicken & BBQ however looking at the menu we decided to eat at other places despite waiting for almost half an hour.

So we decided to have a good meal at Sanur Indonesian Restuarant. I wanted to have a full meal before i have my wisdom tooth extracted. We ordered quite a number of dishes unfortunately, the pictures didn turn out except for this one.

Sambal Kangkong and tom yam soup but the best part of the meal was the belachan...it was really good. Must bring my family there for a treat :)
(Hungry after having 8 meals consisting of rice and soup only...detoxification)

11 Jun 08-5.5 years anniversary!!

Hmm, seems my arrangement of pictures are in the wrong order.. nvm we shall start with our fav past time which is to EAT!! & EAT!! & EAT Somemore!! Been on a calories laden diet for the past few days..Mcdonalds.. Chin Lee and Mac again finally abit of subway haha!!
We went to Purvis street for our dinner after a exhausting "concert".. walking up and down finally decided to try this proclaimed authentic Jap restaurant- Shinryoku Yakitori Restaurant
Apparently famous for its Yakitori..
Off we go!!

My fried garlic rice(think Century sq Sakae tastes better, more fragant!)
Our grilled chicken meat ball
Not bad the black sesame makes it more crunchy. Did not order the beef cubes as still feeling quite full from the afternoon Subway.

Dear's Kimchi Udon!!
Very nice the soup base (Best of the day!)

Our Agedashi Tofu!
Oh not to mention that we were not served wet towels loh loh! tsk tsk!! Jus becos we were shabbily dressed(tees and shorts) doesnt mean we did not pay the service charge loh..how come the skinny lady (wearing a nice low cut dress but got no boobs) get to have wet towels the moment she sit down huh huh??

Overall feel: Not worth going back again!
My rating: 2 Tummies
Hmm was reading up that this resturant is famous for its salmon skin salad..not yakitori no wonder saw quite alot customers ordering but anyway not going back to patronise them again.BOO!

Hehe, today is our 5 years and 6 months anniversary!! Yipppe!! Congratulations to both of us! MUaks!! Love love u darling!! We decided to do something different today!!
Which is to sing KTV!!

That's me singing!!!
That's my darling singing her fav song of the moment "wrong again wrong somemore" bhhaha
Should have seen her shaking her hot hips while singing. woo lahaha!! (wolf whistle)
Tried to post videos of us singing however it seems to take forever and fail to load. whatever.. too bad unable to enjoy our singing hehe

06 Jun 08-Ma Maison

Decided to go some shopping with my dear @ Bugis. Been ages since we last went.. Bugis village was crowded and so hot!! tons of kids roaming around.. very irritating..was reading from the papers that Haji lane was a nice place to shop for clothes. So off we go. However, we took a extremely long route.. we first went to SimLim Square then to the old wares place and cut through from the Johor bus interchange and finally reached Haji lane. I was freaking dissappointed cos there was nothing there!!! and we took such a long route when we could have just walked over from Bugis Junction faintz!! good workout for the 2 of us..hahah both pui pui liao. We just went to this place called Ma Maison which meant "My Home" in French. Heard about this place from the papers and saw a it a couple of times when in central..
Didnt realized that they have it in Bugis all thanks to sharp eyed darling
The place is done up to look like an English cottage-- the quaint ambience is coupled with all the wooden tables and beams and all the fake racks of crockery. I must admit it has a nice ambience very cosy for a nua person like me!

I ordered their Hamburger Steak(cooked in Italian style). The beef patty was coated with Brown sauce which was supposedly simmered for 28 days. Not too bad however, the portion was abit small for a big eater like me hehe. The meat was tender however it was abit on the salty side even for a person like me.

Next up is darling's Cuttlefish Ink pasta!! We were very impressed by this dish!! it is probably the best squid ink pasta we ever had(1st time i'm eating it) .Fanstastic!!Got a tingy garlic smell to it Highly recommended!!
No. of tummies: 4 !!

We were so tired and famished that we finished the dinner in less than 30 mins. We were out happily looking for other stuff to it. Wanted to try out the new J.Co donuts but ther queue is siao...We went over to Kim's hokkien mee. Wanted to try that but no one served us so i was quite pissed...decided to go some where else.

We headed to Old Airport road for second round. Acutall is me la!!Ordered wanton mee ( short queue 1) was disappointing loh think cooked by some foreign talent..yucky portion is small and made me waited for so long not going back to this stall liao.We ordered satay also. Wanted to drink soya bean drink from this stall (Gogo beanz??) but the queue again was bad so went back home but both of us were bao bao and happy!!
