Day 2 @ Wangz hotel

e had a hard time waking up the next morning simply because we were just two lazy slobs!haha but we still had to have our breakfast-the selection at wangz was limited.
Two choice of cereals , one serving of eggs and cupsized muffins and fruits!

We still gobbled our food down!

The eggs with ham on the side-and no, i dont know how to make these darling!heh maybe boiled eggs in the morning?

We decided to take a walk around our hotel!at storey 7 was HALO a bar that oversees the CBD area or almost.

It was empty because the operating hours was from 4pm to 12am

trying to be part of the imaginary hip group

Interesting mirror feature wall

Lunch was at Queensway Shopping Centre-Katong Laska(So weird we are from the east going to the west to eat food that is from the east-totally irrational!)

Jay Chou 2010 concert

Jie Lun!Jie Lun!heh still having the withdrawal symptoms after his concert heh

This was our 3rd Jay Chou concert-it has become part of our courtship/marriage ritual. We had attended our first in 2006, second in 2008 and now the third in 2010. And hopefully many more to come probably when Jay is 50!

For this year, we decided to check into a boutique hotel-Wangz Hotel situated at Outram, close to Tiong Bahru. It does seems that we went overseas to attend his concert doesn't it?

Our room at Wangz Hotel- The pillows were so fluffy that I can die! Together with the sealy mattress

The extra Large side table- guess ours is much smaller

I was famished when we reached wangz hotel and to my horror there was no alot of eatries operating at 4pm in the afternoon!and xin tried to brainwash me that tiong bahru plaza is very far away (that was not what I remembered) anyway we chanced upon tiong bahru food centre (although xin apparently was able to remember about it when we were just across the road- and he does it very often!)

My $2 char kway teow

On our way to the concert!(This was the best seats we ever got!)

Freebies at the concert!Luckily xin bought lightsticks!

The stage all covered up and mysterious!

More and more people! The attraction Jay has on people!

Lights dimming and all set for a night of Jay and only Jay!

The special effects for that night!

There was a huge traffic jam when all the concert goers left the stadium and we were hungry because just before the concert the kallang area was sooo packed even fast food outlets like burger king has become slow food.

As usual again, almost every week he would tell me where he and his colleagues would go for supper during their night shift but when we were supposed to find a place for late night supper he couldnt think of anywhere to go and in the end, we were back at our 2nd favourite place for the month-robertson quay. And we went back to the same place to eat again!TCC-GSS Promotion!

Picked up darling after school as we planned to go to down town east to watch despicable me!

We went to mac to try the spicy chicken mac nuggets and honey chipolte fries. Not too bad

The movie was quite funny but too short. I tot the 3 little girls and minions were cute.
Went to different taste to have our dinner. Their standard have dropped alot since the old days when it was at the bowling alley.
